1. Mains Exam Syllabus: 1. Paper I - Language (Qualifying): Essay Writing Letter Writing Grammar Translation from English to Hindi/Odia and vice versa 2. Paper II - General Studies I: History, Art, Culture, Literature, Tradition & Heritage of Chhattisgarh History of India and Indian National Movement Physical, Social & Economic Geography of India and the World Indian Polity and Governance Constitution Public Administration Current Affairs & Sports International Relations and Events 3. Paper III - General Studies II: Science & Technology Environment Disaster Management Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility Indian Economy Planning and Budgeting Rural and Urban Development Agriculture and Allied Activities Security Issues: Internal and External 4. Paper IV - General Studies III: Ethics, Integrity, and Aptitude Ethics and Human Interface Attitude Emotional Intelligence Contributions of Moral Thinkers and Philosophers from India and the World Public/Civil Service Values and Ethics in Public Administration Probity in Governance Case Studies on Above Issues Each paper is of 200 marks, making a total of 800 marks for the Mains Exam.
