Environmental science: Conservation, pollution, climate change, biodiversity, etc. B. Quantitative Aptitude: This section assesses candidates' numerical and mathematical abilities. Topics may include: 1. Numerical ability: Number system, fractions, decimals, percentages, etc. Arithmetic: Simple and compound interest, profit and loss, time and work, time and distance, etc. 2. Algebra: Basic algebraic identities, linear equations, quadratic equations, etc. 3. Geometry: Basic concepts of lines, angles, triangles, circles, polygons, etc. 4. Data interpretation: Tabular data, bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts, etc. C. Reasoning Ability: This section evaluates candidates' logical and analytical reasoning skills. Topics may include: 1. Technical Knowledge: This section focuses on trade-specific knowledge relevant to the position of trade apprentice. The topics covered will vary depending on the trade. For example: 1. Mechanical trade: Basic mechanical engineering concepts, machines, tools, materials, etc. 2. Electrical trade: Fundamentals of electricity, circuits, transformers, motors, etc. 3. Electronics trade: Semiconductor devices, digital electronics, microprocessors, etc. 4. Civil trade: Construction materials, building techniques, surveying, etc. E. English Language: This section assesses candidates' proficiency in the English language. Topics may include: 1. Grammar: Parts of speech, tenses, articles, prepositions, etc. 2. Vocabulary: Synonyms, antonyms, idioms, phrases, word meanings, etc. 3. Comprehension: Reading passages followed by questions to test comprehension skills. 4. Basic writing skills: Sentence formation, paragraph writing, letter writing, etc.
